In 1962, Betty Gibson, a woman with a pioneering spirit and great vision, founded our company in Boston’s South End. Betty took great pride in championing not only the South End but the growth of Boston as a whole. Today Gibson Sotheby’s is Boston’s largest independently owned and operated real estate firm made up by eight offices and a team of approximately 180 dedicated sales professionals

In April, 2015, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty opened in Cambridge. The goal: to offer the Cambridge Market the unbeatable service and strategically important brand that Boston residents have enjoyed for many years. In March of 2016, with less than one year in the marketplace, Gibson Sotheby’s was already the #1 highest grossing agency in the city.
